Q1: What is a partnership?

A partnership is a collaborative arrangement where organizations who agree to cooperate to advance their mutual interest. ICT Authority enters into partnerships with organizations interested in synergizing with the Authority’s strategic imperatives and pooling our diverse capacities and expertise to develop ICT.

Q2: Who is a partner

A partner is any individual, group or institution including governments and donors whose active participation and support are essential for the successful implementation of the ICT Authority mandate, project or programme.

Q3: Who can collaborate with ICT Authority?

ICT Authority invites partnerships from

  1. SMEs – ICT enterprises
  2. Multinational companies
  3. Innovation ecosystem partners - Investors/ Angel investors
  4. Innovation hubs and spaces
  5. Ministries, State departments, State corporations, and all agencies in government for G2G partnerships
  6. Academia – Universities, Colleges or TVETs
  7. Counties
  8. Private sector supporting ICTA Programmes such as Digitalent(PDTP mentors, trainers, Employers seeking entry level staff )

Q4: How to collaborate with ICT Authority?

The 1st step is fill registration form and identify areas of collaboration. Attach a letter of Intent.

ICT Authority invites partners from organizations with synergy in the major pillars of its strategic plan to develop;

Q6: Are there any financial obligations to collaborate?

Partnerships have no financial obligation. Each party bears its own costs in implementing its obligation/s. Any finances exchanged are declared and accounted.

Q7: When do I need to write a partnership letter of intent?

If you wish to enter into a partnership with or grow the present one with ICT Authority, you write a proposal letter. This partnership letter of intent is a step to formally introduce your company to the Authority and also share your interest on having a business partnership.
